If you are here for 2 or more days diving, you may need gas, whether it’s air, nitrox, oxygen or trimix. None of this is currently available in Lymington, but can be obtained elsewhere. If you are coming to Lymington for a weekend you might find it more convenient to bring extra cylinders with you if you can, ensuring you have the next day’s gas supply if we are late back.
Fills are available as follows:
Tal Scuba and Shooting, Fairmile Road, Christchurch, Dorset. 01202 473030. Air and nitrox. Very helpful and willing and the closest supply to Lymington. Can do out of hours by arrangement. www.shootingandscuba.co.uk.
Flippas-n-fins, The Oaks Centre, Queen Anne Drive, Merley, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 3BA. Tel 07594 946626. Air, nitrox and trimix. www.flippas-n-fins.com
Dorset Diving Services, Unit 5, 6 and 7, West Howe Industrial Estate, Bournemouth, BH11 8JX. Tel. 01202 580065. Supplies air, nitrox, trimix as well as gear and kit servicing. www.dorsetdiving.co.uk.
Andark Diving & Watersports, 256 Bridge Road, Lower Swanwick, Southampton, SO31 7FL. 01489 581755. Provides air, nitrox and trimix. Air while you wait but nitrox and trimix takes longer- you may even have to come back the next day. Call first to determine how long it will take. www.andark.com
I have a further contact for air and nitrox out of hours which may be used if necessary. It’s a longer journey to get there, but you’ll get very good fills and if you’re diving with me for a weekend, you’ll only have to do it once.
